EdgeRunner AI is a VC-backed Generative AI startup founded in 2024 with talent across the world.

Our founding team is experienced in developing state of the art open source foundation models, optimizing models for edge use cases, and bringing this technology to users and enterprises around the world.

We believe Generative AI should be run locally and privately. We're building a suite of small, task-specific models that we call Ultra Efficient Language Models (UELMs). Our UELMs working together create swarm intelligence and can run on any device or hardware, especially air gapped environments providing a local hyper-personalized AI experience.

In addition, we're building an AI router or switch that dynamically routes user requests to the best model for a given task. This enables users to efficiently leverage multiple models with minimal power and memory requirements.
